About the Role: Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you seeking a role that provides on the job learning opportunities? Are you interested in protecting our landscapes by tackling weeds and supporting pest control programs for rabbits, deer, goats and foxes? Do you have experience using boats, 4WDs, quad bikes and other farm equipment? Do you thrive in a varied role with no two days the same?
The district officer role is a hands-on role that supports the care and management of natural and agricultural landscapes in the Riverland district. Working as part of a team you’ll help deliver practical, on-ground activities such as pest plant and animal control, by engaging with landholders and key stakeholders. We will provide you with the training and development needed to help you grow into the role, making this a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in landscape management.

Additional details: Remuneration: Classification OPS3 $71,589 min - $76,033 max p.a Term contract: up to 30 June 2027 Future opportunities: Contract extensions may be available. This recruitment process may be used to fill vacancies and establish a merit list for future opportunities for up to twelve months.
