South Australian Leadership Academy

As part of the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment, the South Australian Leadership Academy (SALA) is committed to developing leaders across all levels of the public sector to promote a resilient and future focused workforce.

SALA aims to:

  • provide ongoing learning experiences for aspiring managers to experienced executives
  • deliver thoughtful and analytical development programs promoting continuous learning
  • develop leaders who lead with integrity and create safe, inclusive work cultures
  • strengthen collaboration across agencies departments, community and private sector organisations
  • enhance workforce performance and potentials

In addition to the above programs, leadership development opportunities are provided within our agencies and these can include secondments, coaching, mentoring, action learning sets, as well as workshops and more formal programs tailored for local needs.
