Why work with us

Every child and young person deserves a great education.

We have a strategy that aims to unlock every child’s potential now and into the future, one that in partnership with learners, students, parents and the wider South Australian community will build a world-leading public education system. One that is equitable and prioritises learning and wellbeing.

Together we will make our education system the best it can be.

When our children and young people thrive, so do our communities and our state.

About the role

As a member of the Early Years Curriculum and Learning Directorate, the Parent Resources Support Partner provides state-wide leadership and consultancy in the strategic design, development, and continuous improvement of high-impact, parent-facing numeracy and literacy resources for children from birth to age 12. The Partner leads major departmental initiatives that set the system standard for resource quality, accessibility, and inclusion, ensuring alignment with departmental strategic priorities, the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standard, and the South Australian Curriculum for Public Education.

Working across the directorate and with external stakeholders, the Partner drives innovation, evaluation, and the translation of research and policy into practice, exercising significant autonomy and influence over practices that shape the Department’s engagement with families and communities, including Aboriginal families and priority cohorts.
