About the Role

Join the Department of Breast Endocrine & Urology as a Unit Secretary and play a vital role in supporting clinical teams across the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Reporting directly to the Administration Manager and accountable to the Senior Business Consultant, Surgical Directorate, you will provide a comprehensive, confidential secretarial and clerical service that helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.

Working closely with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, patients and external stakeholders, you will coordinate a range of administrative activities, manage confidential correspondence and provide high-quality support across a busy clinical environment. This is an opportunity to become a valued member of a collaborative team while contributing to the delivery of efficient and patient-focused healthcare services.

About You

You are a highly organised and professional administrator who enjoys supporting busy teams and delivering exceptional customer service. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion and care.

• Secretarial experience in a fast-paced environment

• Strong typing, audio typing and minute-taking skills

• Use computer systems and Microsoft Office confidently

• Build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders

• Manage priorities while maintaining confidentiality
