About the role

As a member of the Early Years Curriculum and Learning Directorate, the Parent Resources Development Partner provides strategic expertise and professional leadership in the design, development and continuous improvement of high-quality parent-facing resources that strengthen family engagement in children’s learning across early years contexts. Reporting to the Director, Early Years, the Partner contributes specialist knowledge and advice to ensure resources are accessible, inclusive and evidence-informed, and are developed through co-design with families and collaboration with stakeholders across the education system.

The Parent Resources Development Partner works collaboratively across the directorate and broader departmental teams to influence consistent and effective approaches to parent engagement, resource development and communication, while identifying opportunities to strengthen quality, practice and impact across the system.

 

Qualifications

Essential: A tertiary qualification in education and current full teacher registration.

 

Special conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)

Additional note

This is a full-time contract role (1.0 FTE), commencing as soon as possible until 23 Janurary 2029.

This position operates under conditions similar to those of the Public Sector Act 2009 (PS Act).
