  • Salary: RN/M5.2 - $167,282 p.a. + 12% superannuation + leave loading + salary sacrifice benefits

Lead, govern and strengthen community nursing services.

Join a collaborative leadership team where you will guide and strengthen community nursing services across a diverse portfolio.

Reporting to senior executives for both operational governance and professional practice, this role leads multidisciplinary services including Community Nursing, Palliative Care, Specialist Nursing, Chronic Conditions, Aboriginal Health, Aged Care and NDIS.  You will be accountable for practice standards, workforce performance, quality improvement and the efficient use of resources across your portfolio.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage community-based nursing and midwifery services across diverse programs.
  • Drive governance, quality improvement and workforce capability.
  • Oversee service models, budgets and system performance to meet community needs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to strengthen culturally appropriate care, particularly for Aboriginal communities.
  • Foster a positive, safe and high-performing organisational culture.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered (or eligible) Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and current practicing certificate.
  • Minimum 5 year post-registration experience with demonstrated leadership in healthcare.
  • Proven ability to manage services, resources, budgets and complex projects.
  • Strong leadership capability across communication, negotiation, problem solving and change management.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal consumers and communities, with commitment to culturally appropriate care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, quality improvement systems and contemporary healthcare practices.
