Remuneration: ASO3 ($71,589 - $76,033 per annum).

Role Details:

Our Adelaide CBD office is seeking a Service Desk Officer to provide high quality and effective technical support to a diverse range of stakeholders across the department.

In this role, you will be:

  • Providing an advanced help desk function for all approved computer and peripheral hardware.
  • Utilising a call logging system to prioritise problems and record resolutions to enhance team communications.
  • Managing requests for change through consultation with end users while processing user and organisation profiles as required,
  • Ensuring all security policies and practices are adhered to.
  • Conducting informal training sessions to maintain the effective operation of all DCP applications.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to document procedures to improve responses, installations, training and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with computer systems, including mainframes and adapt to evolving technologies and system changes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, determine priorities, plan and organise work while maintaining accuracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in standard desktop environment applications.
