WHAT ARE WE OFFERING/ABOUT THE PROGRAM Kick-start your nursing career with our Enrolled Nurse Transition to Professional Practice Program, is a supportive six-month graduate program designed to build your clinical confidence, skills and professional development in a rural and regional healthcare setting. In this role you will consolidate and develop skills and knowledge within the workplace, supporting skill growth and high-quality nursing practice. This initiative is a 6-month developmental program, established by rural nurses, informed by the practical experience of our rural and regional services and workforce. Participants can expect a program that offers support and opportunities in developing nursing practice of the highest quality. The program operates across the region, and all participants are offered similar opportunities. This specific initiative is dedicated to:
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PROGRAM This program will commence in September 2026 and if successful you will hold a contract for a period of six months, up to March 2027. Opportunities exist across all of our sites, please ensure that you complete the preferences in the Application Form. To participate in this program, you must have completed the required qualifications and have registered with AHPRA a minimum of 6 weeks prior to commencement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO? Whilst being part of this program, you will consolidate your learning through the provision of people-centred care consistent with clinical requirements. You will work and learn under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, however at all times you will also be responsible for your actions and be accountable in providing exceptional nursing care.
