Role Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Business Support Officer to join our team in Whyalla. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the office and broader team by delivering administrative and operational support. You will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, contributing to positive outcomes through effective coordination, communication, and support across a range of business functions.

 In this role, you will be:

  • Delivering administrative, finance, human resources and facilities support.
  • Assisting with budget preparation, salary estimations, cash flow forecasting and the preparation of monthly expenditure reports.
  • Organising servicing and maintenance for fleet vehicles in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Building strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams across DCP.
  • Providing training and ongoing support to staff in the use of computer systems and applications.

  • You have strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately review, verify, and manage information.
  • You can communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • You can manage competing priorities, work to deadlines, and remain organised in a busy team environment.
  • You are confident using Microsoft Office programs and a range of office technologies to support day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • You are committed to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment.
