The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

The Opportunity

Service SA seeks an experienced Senior Project Lead to deliver complex, high value projects into TRUMPS (Transport Regulation User Management Processing System) that enhance customer and community outcomes. Working under broad direction, the role provides strategic project leadership across planning, delivery, risk and change management. The position leads multidisciplinary teams, engages stakeholders and translates strategic objectives into compliant, sustainable, customer focused solutions.

About you

You are an experienced project professional with demonstrated capability delivering complex, strategically aligned and customer focused initiatives. You bring strong analytical, research and communication skills, enabling the provision of clear, timely advice in dynamic environments. Working under broad direction, you build effective relationships, manage risk and competing priorities, exercise sound judgement, and support inclusive, respectful and collaborative workplaces.

Educational Qualifications / Licence 

  • Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, SCRUM Maser, Project Management Professions (desirable). 

Special Conditions

  • A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
  • Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required
