Ready to kickstart your career in Human Resources?

We’re seeking a Recruitment Support Officer to join the Department for Child Protection. This is a behind-the-scenes role with real impact supporting the recruitment of the people who help keep vulnerable children and families across South Australia safe, strong and connected.

You’ll be part of a passionate, high-performing team where your work directly shapes the candidate experience and helps bring our employment brand to life.

About the role

This is more than just administration. Your organisational skills will support the day-to-day delivery of recruitment activities, while your creativity and writing ability will help us connect with the right candidates.

Your work will include supporting functional recruitment processes, navigating our eRecruitment systems, contributing to social media activity, and providing general support to the team. You’ll also play a key role in writing engaging job adverts, posts, reports and emails that reflect who we are and what we stand for.

You’ll be a trusted point of contact for candidates, helping guide them through the process while ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What’s in it for you

  • A genuinely supportive team who enjoy working together (and a few laughs along the way)
  • The opportunity to build real HR and recruitment skills from the ground up
  • A role that combines administration with creativity and communication
  • Flexible working arrangements and a strong focus on wellbeing
  • Support for you and your family via our Employee Assistance Program (confidential counselling and wellbeing support services)
  • Access to Fitness Passport (a workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide range of gyms and pools across South Australia)
  • Salary packaging benefits available to eligible employees.

What you’ll bring

  • You’re organised, proactive and take pride in getting the details right
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, and you’re comfortable working across multiple tasks at once
  • You might be starting out in HR or bringing some administrative or recruitment experience with you, but most importantly, you’re keen to learn and be part of a team doing meaningful work.

Apply today and become part of a team dedicated to excellence in everything we do! We strive for purpose in our work, guided by our commitment to passion, resilience, adaptability and strategic thinking.
