Job reference: 842784 Location: 5304 - PINNAROO Job status: Casual Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Opportunity We are seeking two casual Quarantine Station Inspectors to deliver effective inspection services, ensuring plant material (including fruit and vegetables), animals, machinery and soils meet South Australia’s entry requirements in accordance with legislation. You will take action when non‑conformance is identified, helping protect South Australia from pest and/or diseases. You will provide quarantine services (inspection and notification) as a first line of defence for vehicles and goods entering the state, while monitoring movements, gathering and reporting intelligence. The role also involves building trust and being a professional and welcoming face of South Australia for travellers, working closely with Police and other agencies when required.
