Job reference: 842415 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Long Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone Classification: ASO7 About the Opportunity The Senior Cyber Security & Risk Specialist plays a key role in leading and coordinating governance, risk and compliance (GRC) activities across the AGD Cyber Program. The position is responsible for managing core elements of the Department’s Cyber Security and Risk Program, with a primary focus on cyber governance, risk management, assurance, and policy compliance. Working closely with internal GRC and technical cyber security specialists, the role contributes to the effective implementation and ongoing maturity of the Department’s cyber security posture, including alignment with the South Australian Cyber Security Framework (SACSF) and ISO/IEC 27001. The position provides authoritative cyber security and risk advice to a broad range of business stakeholders and offers opportunities to lead and participate in discrete cyber security initiatives and assurance activities that support delivery of the AGD Cyber Security and Risk Strategy.
About the Business The Technology Services Business Unit is responsible for helping to meet a wide range of IT needs throughout the department by providing expertise and services in ICT Service Desk and Desktop Support, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support, ICT Contract Management and Procurement, ICT Security and Policy, IT Asset Management, software licensing and compliance, ICT Change Management that assist in meeting the overall AGD objectives. Special Conditions for Employment Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD. Employment-related Screening Check required. Some out of hours work may be required. Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required. This role requires the applicant to be eligible for attainment of Baseline Clearance. Applications for Baseline Clearance requires the applicant to be an Australian citizen or have existing Australian permanent residency status.
