Quorn Health Service

Quorn Health Service is a 41-bed facility, including 11 acute beds and 30 aged care beds, proudly serving the Flinders Ranges region. As part of the Flinders Ranges Multi-Purpose Service (MPS), we provide accident and emergency care, general and surgical services, and residential aged care. Our dedicated team plays an integral role in supporting the health and wellbeing of residents - offering companionship, encouraging independence, and maintaining vital connections with family, friends, and the local community to enrich quality of life. Living and Working in the Flinders and Upper North Region - Quorn

 

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver nursing and/or midwifery services within a healthcare setting, contributing to the provision of safe and effective care. You will progress from a novice to a proficient practitioner, strengthening your knowledge and clinical capability through ongoing experience and professional development. In this role, you will take responsibility for your own standards of nursing/midwifery care, as well as for activities delegated to others, supporting consistent and high-quality care delivery.

 

About You:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
