Role Details:

Our office based in Adelaide CBD is seeking a Carer Payments Officer to join our Finance and Corporate Services team on a full-time long term basis. In this role, you will be providing efficient administrative and data processing support to ensure accurate and timely Carer Support Payments. You will maintain records, verify placement data and support quality standards across the state-wide Out of Home Care system.

In this role, you will be:

  • Providing timely, accurate and inclusive support to stakeholders, including tailored solutions for CALD clients and clients with a disability.
  • Processing carer payments accurately and efficiently while providing a high standard of customer service.
  • Providing financial support for the Carers Payment program, including reconciliations and resolving overpayments.
  • Supporting system and data management by monitoring records, resolving issues and recommending improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • You are able to work collaboratively within a professional team with a high level of professional and personal integrity.
  • You have experience checking accuracy of information and following policies and procedures to avoid errors.
  • You can deliver administrative, client and records support in complex environments, with the ability to interpret and apply policies.
  • You have proven experience in the use of various computer applications, including client databases.
