Your Time to Shine

The Team Lead Applications – Functional is responsible for leading and managing the strategic planning, delivery and evaluation of IT application support programs and services. The role leads a high performing functional team in the delivery of complex application support functions, coordinates and undertakes Team workload management functions and provides expert advice to the resolution of escalated issues and risks.

What You’ll Bring

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You can confidently tailor your communication to suit technical and non‑technical audiences, translating complex concepts into clear, outcome‑focused messages that highlight value and benefits.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving capability, with demonstrated experience proactively identifying, researching and analysing complex issues, risks and emerging business opportunities. You can develop practical, well‑considered solutions that deliver strong outcomes for customers, users and the organisation.
  • Significant leadership experience managing and coaching multi‑disciplinary BAU ICT application support teams. You bring a strong people‑leadership focus, including performance management, capability development and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer service.
  • Extensive experience operating within ITIL service management environments, ensuring consistent adherence to SLAs, service targets and governance requirements while balancing competing priorities and maintaining service stability.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
