We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated Psychologist to join our Student Support Services team, offering a rewarding role with opportunities for professional growth and career progression. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, inclusive educators, behaviour support educators, and other professionals to deliver evidence‑informed support across diverse education settings. Psychologists play a key role in responding to complex learner needs, including autism, ADHD, trauma-related challenges, and mental health concerns. Working collaboratively with educators, families, communities, and interagency partners, you’ll help support positive outcomes in student wellbeing, engagement, and learning. Qualifications: Essential:
AHP2/3: Current and full registration with the Psychology Board of
Australia; AHP3: Psychology Board of Australia approved
supervisor Desirable: AHP3: Area of practice endorsement - educational and developmental psychology and/or clinical psychology and/or counselling psychology.
Special conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. The incumbent will be required to have a current driver’s licence and be willing to drive. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description.
AHP2 $94,997 - $ $110,052 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) + leave loading and applicable allowances. AHP3 $112,139 - $120,284 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) + leave loading and applicable allowances.

This is a 0.6FTE contract position available at AHP2 / AHP3 level based at Felixstow Education Office until 31 May 2027, with a possibility for extension.
