Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN)

  • Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Service, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woodville South
  • MDP2 Salary $96,569 - $153,533p.a. + super + salary packaging
  • Full-Time, 12 month Contract

Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement).  At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role
Join a collaborative plastics team and deliver high-quality surgical care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings. You'll manage patient journeys, build clinical capability and contribute to teaching, research and service excellence.

  • Assess, treat and review plastics and reconstructive cases
  • Manage ward care, discharge plans and follow up
  • Support clinics, theatre lists and emergency care
  • Collaborate with Consultants and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to teaching, audit and research projects

About You
You bring strong clinical skills, teamwork and a patient-first mindset.

  • MBBS or equivalent with AHPRA registration
  • Show plastics and reconstructive clinical capability
  • Communicate clearly with patients and teams
  • Work well in multidisciplinary environments
  • Apply problem solving and sound clinical judgement
