We're always looking for experienced Paramedics who align with our culture and values. If the locations listed above aren't your preferred options, or you're unable to commence in July, we still encourage you to apply, indicating your preferred country locations in your application. Relocation Support To make your relocation to South Australia and transition into SAAS as smooth as possible, we'll provide you with up to $15,000 reimbursement of relocation expenses, as part of the SA Health's Regional Incentive Program. This will cover the cost of travel, short-term accommodation, relocation costs and other expenses. For more information, please read the attached factsheet. Regional Incentive Payments SAAS provides Regional Incentive Payments for Paramedics working in country locations. Depending on your location, you can earn anywhere from an additional $2,000 to almost $8,000 on top of your base salary in your first year. This payment increases each year you continue in a regional role. Government Employee Housing Eligible SAAS staff can apply to access the Government Employee Housing program for housing located 100km outside of the Adelaide CBD. In some regions this can include up to 50% subsidy on rent. Details on how to apply can be found on the Frequently Asked Questions page. Your Commitment Within our Country regions, our paramedics are highly trusted members of the community. Their role often extends beyond emergency care due to the distance to primary health services, making community integration, strong local relationships, and an understanding of community health needs essential. To enable this - and in acknowledgement of our investment in supporting your relocation - successful candidates will be required to complete a minimum of 12 months in their initial regional location.
