Do you want to be part of South Australia's largest and leading health infrastructure project? The State Government is committed to building a bigger and better hospital for South Australian women, babies, children, young people, and families. The multi-billion dollar, once in a generation, project will provide a new modern facility for our future communities by 2031. Located in the Adelaide BioMed City precinct, it will have more beds, theatres, and greater emergency capacity - and increased scope for future expansion. Healthy environments are an important element of the project as we set out to build one of the first all-electric public hospitals in Australia. Set in Adelaide's iconic parklands, the site will provide people with a connection to Kaurna country and allow our dedicated clinical staff to provide a therapeutic approach to patients to enhance their recovery and wellbeing.
