THE IMPACT YOU WILL DRIVE AT THE SACE
BOARD
As the Cloud Engineer, you will
support the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement
of the SACE Board's cloud and infrastructure services. You will
help deliver reliable, secure and efficient ICT services
through technical support, system administration,
incident resolution and the implementation of cloud-based
solutions.
Working collaboratively with ICT
colleagues, service providers and business stakeholders, you will
support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and core
infrastructure systems. You will also contribute to projects and
initiatives that improve service delivery and business outcomes
across the organisation.
This role provides an
opportunity to apply and further develop your cloud and
infrastructure expertise while contributing to the secure
and effective operation of technology services that support the
SACE Board.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Demonstrated
knowledge of and experience with cloud platforms, with a
focus on Microsoft Azure
technologies.
- Experience
administering and supporting Azure hosting infrastructure,
identity services, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory,
Windows Server and core infrastructure services
such as DNS and DHCP.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft
365 services, including Microsoft Teams, Teams
Rooms, OneDrive and endpoint
management.
- Knowledge of
server, virtual infrastructure and storage
technologies.
- Experience
supporting on-premises Microsoft technologies, including
Active Directory and Windows
Server.
- Experience
contributing to cloud system
design, installation and deployment
activities.
- Demonstrated
ability to investigate and resolve incidents and service
requests, support recovery activities during system
outages, and escalate complex issues
when required.
- Ability to
contribute to operational processes, procedures and
continuous improvement initiatives that support secure and
reliable ICT services.
- Strong
communication, collaboration and stakeholder
engagement skills, with a customer-focused approach to
service delivery.
- Demonstrated
ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage
priorities,
meet deadlines and maintain a high
degree of accuracy.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Some
out-of-hours work may
be required.
- Appointment
is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check
obtained through the Department of Human Services and
renewed before expiry in accordance
with applicable
requirements.
- The role is
governed by the SACE Board of South Australia Act
1983.
- The
successful applicant must comply with SACE Board
and South Australian Government
policies, procedures and legislative
obligations.

REMUNERATION
ASO5: $92,122 -
$102,456.
This is a 3-year term role with the
possibility of extension.
