The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead South Australian Government agency for sport, active recreation and racing. ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, local government, and the community by providing leadership and support through the development and delivery of funding, policy, programs, infrastructure planning and management, and high-performance pathways.

About the Division - Strategy and Investment

The Strategy and Investment division plays a central role in strengthening ORSR' performance, reputation and strategic direction. Through its communications function, it enhances the organisation's profile  and public presence, while its business operations and governance teams provide specialised corporate support and advice. Informed by market intelligence, research and evaluation, the division generates industry insights which shape strategy and improve sector outcomes. The funding services team administers the Sports Vouchers Plus program and manages the assessment and allocation of grants across one off, term and ongoing programs that support industry priorities. The division also leads commercial and partnership opportunities that leverage ORSR's assets to drive sustainable revenue and maximise value.

Role Details

The Program Support Officer plays a key role in the delivery, administration and continuous improvement of the Sports Vouchers Plus program, supporting increased access to community sport, active recreation and music across South Australia. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, providing high-level support to ensure compliance with funding requirements and engaging and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The role entails supporting the strategic direction and management of the program, contributing to policy development, and coordinating projects that align with ORSR's strategic objectives. The officer will provide guidance to internal teams, support program improvements, and liaise with stakeholders to enhance the impact of ORSR's funding initiatives.

Special Conditions
  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • This role requires a working with children check.

Salary Range

$79,432 - $83,266 p.a.
