About the role
The Senior Human Resource Business Partner provides strategic and operational HR leadership, partnering with Executives and senior managers to manage complex workforce matters, drive organisational change, and ensure contemporary people management practices align with SA Health policy, legislation and business objectives.
Key duties of the role
Provide expert advice to Executives on complex employee relations, performance and misconduct matters
Lead organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives
Partner with managers to manage high-risk grievances, disputes and investigations end-to-end
Interpret and apply Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislation to deliver sound outcomes
Develop and deliver HR training while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Influence HR policy by analysing trends, identifying risks and shaping workforce strategies.
Skills and Experience
Significant experience providing strategic and operational HR advice to senior management, including complex employee relations.
Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and collaborative working relationships to achieve organisational goals.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
High-level communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise advice on sensitive matters.
Strong knowledge of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislation.
