Remuneration: ASO5 ($89,007 - $98,991) plus 12% superannuation

Our People and Culture directorate is seeking a Senior Project Officer to work in the Workforce Strategy and Organisational Development team. The role offers the opportunity to apply project management skills across a range of projects within the Organisational Development team. It requires the ability to build and maintain relationships, communicate clearly and coordinate effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Apply your project management skills to ensure the needs of clients are addressed
  • Lead key projects, including engagement and culture survey planning, mentoring and recognition initiatives, and leadership strategy
  • Plan and coordinate events, including leadership forums
  • Provide operational support for projects and initiatives, including scheduling, stakeholder consultation and risk management
  • Identify and resolve issues related to stakeholder engagement, change management and communication.

Demonstrated experience delivering positive business outcomes is supported by sound judgement, initiative and strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges. A focus on continuous improvement drives the identification of service delivery enhancements and the refinement of systems and processes in line with best practice. Highly developed organisational skills support the ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing tasks and projects, alongside analysing information from multiple sources to produce clear, effective reports, briefings and presentations.
