 Join our Respiratory & Sleep Services team as an Administrative Team Leader today! 

The Administrative Team Leader provides leadership and support to a variety of administrative positions within the Sleep Health Service. Whilst contributing to the effective operation of the Sleep Health Service by monitoring and coordinating project deadlines, reporting on the clinical and financial activity, and performing administrative duties for clinical staff.

About the role: 

As the Administrative Team Leader duties for the role may include:

  • Supervising administrative staff including rostering staff, coordinating workflow, delegating duties, monitoring and providing feedback on work quantity and quality
  • Leading administrative staff including conducting regular performance reviews
  • Recruiting, inducting and training new staff and ensuring existing staff maintain and improve their skills, including patient information applications such as EPAS and HealthTrack
  • Ensuring the department maintains appropriate clerical staffing levels by actively contributing to recruitment and selection processes and effectively managing rosters to meet operational service requirements.
  • Organising staff meetings including preparing agendas
  • Exercising initiative, autonomy and judgement to co-ordinate daily activities and with limited supervision, set priorities, organise overall workload to ensure duties meet and achieve agreed objective

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, judgement and be flexible
  • Experience with hospital-based computer information systems e.g. EPAS, OACIS and HealthTrack
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven experience in intermediate to advanced computing skills, especially with practice management applications
