About the Division

The Strategy and Performance Division promotes the value of education in South Australia and plays a key role in improving the public education system. It leads system-wide strategy, manages strategic risks, provides data-driven insights, and supports schools and preschools to succeed and strengthen their standing within their communities.


About the role

This role is responsible for product growth and services offered by South Australian Government Schools (SAGS) to meet changing customer needs, as well as government targets and policy directions for international education in South Australia.  This role involves researching, developing and reviewing existing and new international programs and business opportunities.

Working within an international context, the International Business Development Officer will provide expert advice to external and internal stakeholders on complex and specialised international student programs, including SAGS’ Study Tour Program, and contribute to business development and market sustainability plans in line with International Education Services (IES) business needs and departmental policies.

 

Qualifications

Essential: Nil

Desirable: A tertiary qualification in international business, marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience

Special conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration

ASO5 $89,007 - $98,991 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
