About the Role

The Waitlist Coordinator provides comprehensive and adaptive administrative support to the clinical unit, working collaboratively with the Head of Unit and other key stakeholders to deliver efficient and accurate management of the unit’s administrative functions and the surgical waitlist and booking processes.

The role works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to maintain and monitor high-quality data systems and development efficient workflows to effectively manage the waitlist to ensure patients receive accurate and equitable care in a timely manner in line with internal and external benchmarks. The Waitlist Coordinator takes primary responsibility for surgery and procedural bookings while working with a high degree of independence and autonomy, playing a critical role in ensuring safe, transparent, and patient centred care can be delivered.

You are a highly organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex booking and waitlist processes while delivering exceptional patient-focused service.
