About Us

Picture a career that’s more than numbers. At the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), we’re building a world‑class Treasury for South Australia—one that’s innovative, collaborative, and future‑focused.

We’re South Australia’s lead agency for economic, digital, and financial policy outcomes. Our work touches every corner of the state, from enabling frontline services to driving digital transformation. And we do it all with one purpose: to make life better for the people who call South Australia home.

Why This Role Matters

The Government’s primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SA Health, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its service life. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams.

As a Training Support Coordinator, you’ll play an important part in supporting the successful delivery of the Finance Reform Program training function. By coordinating logistics, supporting trainers and ensuring high‑quality administrative and project support, the role contributes directly to end‑user adoption of new systems and processes across government.

About the Opportunity

You’ll contribute to a major whole-of-government transformation, helping people and teams adapt to new systems, processes and ways of working.

In this role, you will:

  • Be part of a large‑scale, whole‑of‑government transformation shaping how finance services are delivered across South Australia
  • Support the delivery of a high‑profile program that impacts multiple agencies and stakeholders
  • Contribute to improving systems, processes and ways of working through the implementation of a new financial management system
  • Assist with system readiness for the FRP Training Program, including data preparation pertaining to user access and training process scenarios.
  • Work closely with a collaborative team, supporting training delivery and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Play a key role in enabling end‑user adoption of new systems and processes across government
  • Gain exposure to complex, enterprise‑level project work and build capability in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment

Remuneration

ASO4 ($79,432 - $83,266 p.a.) + 12% Superannuation

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience providing administrative and project support in a professional environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating activities such as meetings, training sessions or small events
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work, manage competing deadlines and deliver in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
  • Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to contribute to practical solutions
