Role Details:

Join our team as an Access Worker in Murray Bridge, supporting children in a role where no two days are the same and your work truly matters. You will help make a meaningful difference by supporting safe and positive connections between children, young people and their families.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and facilitate access arrangements, organise visits and provide supportive interaction in a caring and professional manner.
  • Facilitate the play/activities of children and young people during access visits.
  • Promote positive behaviour by responding to challenges using effective strategies to de-escalate conflict.
  • Support Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and culturally diverse communities through inclusive practice while expanding your cultural awareness.

About You:

  • You have experience relating positively with children and young people to understand their needs.
  • You are able to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality services.
  • You can manage workloads by planning, organising and prioritising responsibilities effectively.
  • You have strong active listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
