Service: Allied and Community Health Service Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary professionals united by a common goal: improving health outcomes for our community. Based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, we also deliver care through regular outreach clinics in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Marree, and Leigh Creek. We provide a wide range of centre-based, in-home, and community-based services for people of all ages, tailoring care to meet individual needs. From therapy and rehabilitation to health education and support, our teams are committed to delivering accessible, high-quality care where it matters most. To find out more about the Services at Country Health Connect - Flinders and Upper North Community Health Service | SA Health Orthotic and Prosthetics (O&P) Based at Whyalla Hospital, our Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) Department provides personalised support for custom braces and artificial limbs. As the only O&P service located outside metropolitan South Australia, we proudly deliver care across regional centres including Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, and Port Pirie. We support clients during hospital stays in Whyalla and those attending appointments for rehabilitation and temporary prosthetic care. Our team also works closely with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) to provide ongoing care and partners with podiatrists to assist clients with high-risk feet in Whyalla and Port Augusta. About the Role: Step into a Senior Podiatrist role where your expertise and leadership will shape high-quality, community-focused services across the Flinders Upper North Regional Health Service and rural and remote South Australia. You will work closely with allied health staff, managers and stakeholders to support service improvement, model of care development and workforce initiatives. In this role, you will deliver complex clinical and consultancy services with a high level of independence, provide expert advice on service development and contribute to clinical protocols and projects at a network level. You will also support clinical supervision, education and professional development, while contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance within the podiatry service. The Podiatrist also works closely with community nursing in the wound clinic and the SA Health award winning Orthotics and Prosthetics team! Learn more about our Allied Health workforce
