About the Role:

The Retrieval Fellow will work with an experienced Retrieval Paramedic or Nurse colleague to deliver high quality, patient focussed care to critically injured adults and children. Responding by helicopter, rapid response road vehicle or turbo prop fixed wing aircraft.

With support, the Retrieval Fellow will also participate in retrieval and transport clinical coordination, take a leading role in service Clinical Governance and quality assurance activities, educate and mentor less experienced medical staff within the service and collaboratively lead service pre-hospital and retrieval research activities

SAAS Medstar Emergency Medical Retrieval Service is a directorate within SA Ambulance and provides high level critical care and retrieval services to adults, children and neonates across South Australia.
