The Opportunity

The Manager – Financial Modelling and Analysis is responsible for leading and managing financial analysis and associated modelling to support key strategic decisions around funding, new initiatives, business cases, special projects, annual budgeting and forecasting over multiple year timeline.  They lead and continually review the pricing strategy and cost modelling that is critical to TAFE SA financial sustainability and its impact to the community. Regularly engage with stakeholders across the business and analyse the performance of all TAFE SA products, including student courses, leasing agreements, partnerships and ancillary revenue.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrate highly effective written and business analytical skills including demonstrated experience in preparing and managing business cases and financial models, developing strategies and policies to improve performance and providing concise written executive reports.
  • Extensive experience in managing multi-dimensional data sets, databases and the development of complex cost allocation techniques using various modelling and reporting tools and advanced skills in Excel, Macro’s, Microsoft Power BI, SQL and DAX.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and manage collaborative, productive and successful working relationships, liaise and negotiate at senior levels and foster trust, co-operation, and support from others.

What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
