What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Ceduna MPS Kitchen Hand Casual Pool, you'll play a reliable, hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the hospital kitchen. Your work directly supports patient care - and that matters here.

  • Preparing, portioning, and delivering meals to patients and residents in line with dietary and food safety requirements
  • Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils to maintain a safe, compliant food service environment
  • Supporting kitchen staff with stock handling, dishwashing, and general food preparation tasks
  • Following SA Health food safety protocols and contributing to a well-organised, respectful team environment

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality environment
  • Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently across varied shift times, including weekends and public holidays
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a physically active role
  • Respectful communication skills, particularly when working in and around patient care areas
