Duration of the training program: 12 months from Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract Take the next step in your rewarding medical career with the Rheumatology Department! An exciting opportunity is presented for an individual with a genuine interest in Rheumatology. This position is based at one of South Australia's leading Local Health Networks. About the Role A multi-faceted role where you will gain a diverse range of experience, you will be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to current department in consultation with the responsible Registrars, Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. Able to function effectively within a fast-paced environment, you will maintain a high standard of patient care for inpatients and outpatients and provide an effective and accurate clinical handover of patient care at the change of daily shifts and at the change of a clinical attachment. As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Advanced Trainee will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements.
