About the role

CaFHS improves early childhood health and wellbeing through parenting support and targeted programs. The AHP3 Clinical Supervision – Psychologist will provide clinical supervision to an interprofessional team. The Clinical Supervisor provides expert leadership, guidance and accountability for clinical practice, service outcomes, and aligning care with policy.

Key duties of the role

  • Ensure a high level of competency for all clinical staff, including students
  • Encourage and actively support a positive culture and safe work environment
  • Ensure efficient and effective contemporary, client-focused, therapeutic services are provided
  • Ensure standard procedures and document management standards are established and complied with

Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating professional reflective supervision with adults
  • Effective leadership skills, including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to accept responsibility and coordinate own activities while exercising judgement, initiative, and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills across a wide-ranging audience.
