Remuneration: ASO6 ($102,171 - $108,071) / ASO7 ($112,163 - $121,246) plus 12% superannuation

Our Finance and Corporate Services Directorate is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst or a Financial Business Advisor to join the team in our Adelaide office. You will provide expert financial advice, analysis and reporting to support effective decision-making across the organisation. Additionally, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring, to strengthen financial management and inform planning and service delivery outcomes.

This is a single vacancy offered under a dual classification, meaning it may be filled by either a Senior Financial Analyst (ASO6) or a Financial Business Advisor (ASO7), depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to financial planning and strategic business priorities across the Department
  • Support projects and initiatives that improve financial performance and service delivery
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, reports, briefings and other key financial documents
  • Use financial data and tools to support analysis, reporting and better decision-making
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to support financial processes and resolve issues.

  • You can build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • You are experienced in providing financial and business advice to support decision-making in large-scale environments
  • You analyse complex information and use judgement to solve problems and make recommendations
  • You are skilled in managing financial systems, data and reporting tools to support budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring
  • You work independently to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes in a complex setting.
