 About Us

Picture a career that’s more than numbers. At the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), we’re building a worldclass Treasury for South Australia—one that’s innovative, collaborative, and futurefocused.

We’re South Australia’s lead agency for economic, digital, and financial policy outcomes. Our work touches every corner of the state, from enabling frontline services to driving digital transformation. And we do it all with one purpose: to make life better for the people who call South Australia home.

Why This Role Matters

The Government’s primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SA Health, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its service life. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams.

As a Change Analyst, you’ll play a key role in transforming how financial services are delivered across South Australia. By supporting the rollout of a modern financial management system, your work will help government agencies operate more efficiently, make better decisions, and deliver improved outcomes for the community.

About the Opportunity

You’ll contribute to a major whole-of-government transformation, helping people and teams adapt to new systems, processes and ways of working.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the successful rollout of a new financial management system across government
  • Develop change management artefacts aligned to strategy, context and audience requirements
  • Help people understand, adopt and embed new ways of working
  • Build strong relationships across agencies, partnering with diverse stakeholders
  • Deliver impactful communication, training and change initiatives
  • Shape continuous improvement and best practice change approaches
  • Influence meaningful outcomes in a complex, high-impact program
