About the Role
Lead a dedicated team within the Acute and Urgent Care Program at Hampstead Jacaranda Ward, shaping high-quality care for older people. You will manage staff, build capability, create a positive culture, and maintain strong partnerships to support safe, seamless patient journeys and great outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Manage staffing, rostering and workforce needs
- Drive team performance, capability and culture
- Ensure practice aligns with policy and standards
- Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams
- Support and mentor nurses at all levels
- Build strong internal and external partnerships
- Monitor outcomes and lead quality improvement
About You
You are a capable, people-first leader who brings energy, clarity and care to every shift. You know how to lift teams, partner across disciplines and keep patients and families at the centre of every decision.
- Registered or eligible with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current practising certificate or eligibility to hold
- Proven ability to lead teams and build positive culture
- Strong communication, problem solve and conflict skills
- Knowledge of standards, legislation and quality care
