Join Our Team as a Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist – Lead and Innovate in Rural and Remote Communities! The Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist is a highly skilled clinician who combines significant clinical and leadership expertise to develop, deliver, and continuously improve quality Occupational Therapy services tailored to the unique needs of rural and remote communities. Working within a multi-disciplinary service environment, you will uphold professional standards while providing complex clinical and consultancy Occupational Therapy services across the region. As a clinical leader, mentor, and supervisor, you will offer essential clinical support and profession-specific supervision to less experienced Occupational Therapists, ensuring their growth and development. You will also play a pivotal role in the clinical education of staff and students, shaping the future of the profession within the region. In this leadership capacity, you will contribute to the Occupational Therapy Network, collaborating with other Clinical Seniors to promote research and evaluation initiatives that drive improvements in clinical practice. You will be instrumental in fostering service improvements, increasing expertise, and representing RMCLHN on relevant committees. Additionally, you may be called upon to contribute to or lead key projects within the region. You will receive line management, clinical support, and supervision from the Senior Manager of Occupational Therapy, while working in close partnership with other Allied Health Professional Clinical Seniors, local teams, and key stakeholders in the region and state.
