• Temporary Full-Time. About The Role Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service is seeking a Medical Practitioner (Adult Internal Medicine Registrar) to join our General Medicine team. Working closely with Consultants, Visiting Specialists, Nursing and Allied Health professionals, you will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient medical care while contributing to safe, evidence-based clinical practice. This role offers valuable exposure to a broad range of medical presentations within a regional health service and includes opportunities to participate in teaching, supervision, quality improvement and ongoing professional development. You will play an important role in supporting patient outcomes while developing your own clinical expertise in Adult Internal Medicine. About You You are a motivated and patient-focused medical practitioner who enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You bring sound clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care while continuing to develop your professional knowledge and experience. To succeed in the Medical Practitioner (Adult Internal Medicine Registrar) role, you will: • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine (or equivalent) and current AHPRA General Registration About General Medicine The General Medicine Department provides comprehensive medical care to adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the department delivers high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting clinical education, training, research and continuous quality improvement activities.
