What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential Care Attendant at Ceduna MPS, you'll provide hands-on personal care and daily living support to residential aged care clients, working within a small, dedicated team that genuinely knows its residents. This is a casual, fixed-term position available until 30 June 2027.

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living in line with individual care plans
  • Observe and report changes in resident health, behaviour, or wellbeing to nursing staff
  • Support a safe, respectful, and homely environment that upholds each resident's independence and choice
  • Contribute to a collaborative care team across a rural multi-purpose service setting

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent, or demonstrated relevant experience in a residential aged care setting
  • Sound understanding of person-centred care principles
  • Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
  • A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of older people in rural communities
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts as part of a casual pool arrangement
