Job reference: 847657 Location: 5035 - KESWICK Job status: Long Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone Classification: ASO3 About the Opportunity The Senior Licensing Officer provides high-level advice and guidance to both internal and external SafeWork SA stakeholders regarding licensing and authorisation requirements. The role contributes to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, policies and procedures to ensure efficient, consistent and high-quality licensing service delivery. The position is also responsible for processing licence applications and related transactions in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely outcomes.
About the Business SafeWork SA is a business unit within Attorney-General’s Department and is responsible for providing work, health and safety, public safety, and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia. As a regulator, our Investigators and Inspectors ensure work, health and safety, and public safety standards are met, and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected. We also help people better understand their work health and safety responsibilities.

Special Conditions for Employment Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
