About the Role: An exciting opportunity awaits within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) for a dedicated and forward‑thinking Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Inpatient Units. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adults experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health conditions. Your clinical expertise will support the delivery of high‑quality care, ensuring patients and their families receive compassionate, evidence‑based support during their most challenging moments. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will help cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your leadership and specialist knowledge will play a key role in shaping the future of mental health services across our region. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
