Adelaide Festival Centre operates four major venues in the Adelaide CBD - Festival Theatre, Dunstan Playhouse, Space Theatre and Her Majesty’s Theatre About the Role The Assistant Payroll Officer supports the accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with Australian workplace legislation, including the Fair Work Act, Australian Tax Office requirements and superannuation obligations. This role assists in maintaining payroll records, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date, and supporting the correct calculation of employee entitlements and statutory obligations such as PAYG withholding and superannuation contributions. The Assistant Payroll Officer provides payroll administration support, responds to employee payroll enquiries, and contributes to the efficient operation of payroll and finance functions. The role also supports payroll reporting, record management, system maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure payroll processes remain accurate, compliant, and effective. Available in a part time (0.6 FTE) capacity for a 1-year contract. The successful candidate will be required to work Tuesdays to Thursday. Key Responsibilities
