Overview:
- Provide primary administration and operational support to the South Australia Public Health Council.
- Provide expert input to the development, implementation and maintenance of strategic public health policies, plans and programs, to meet the objectives and requirements of the South Australian Public Health Act, 2011, the State Public Health Plan and PHD Strategic Plan.
- Work with, and provide public health consultancy services to, Local Councils, the Local Government Association and other areas of public health to lead, develop and implement coherent regional public health plans and capacity building programs to support public health planning (at state and local levels).
- Assist the development and delivery of Divisional policies and frameworks to drive and promote working together under a one division approach.
- Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of Divisional frameworks that enable effective communication and engagement with and between internal and external stakeholders.
