Role Status: Full-time temporary vacancy available until 12 February 2027.
Remuneration: ASO3 ($71,589 - $76,033 per annum).

We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our Central Rostering Team and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of essential services to children and young people. This opportunity is suitable for a highly organised and solutions focused professional to contribute to a dynamic rostering team, ensuring residential facilities are staffed effectively and efficiently to meet operational needs.

Central Rostering operates across multiple locations, including Salisbury, Keswick, Enfield and Morphett Vale. There may be opportunities to work across any of these sites, with preference given to locations closer to their home where operationally possible.

In this role, you will be:

  • Collaborating effectively with stakeholders across Out of Home Care, Human Resources, Finance and Business Support teams.
  • Acting as first point of contact for staff, providing support and training in relation to the electronic rostering tool.
  • Proactively liaising with agencies to secure staffing coverage for roster vacancies when internal staff are unavailable.
  • Working proactively with Supervisors and Managers to meet rostering needs and publish rosters within agreed timeframes.

  • You have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • You can manage time-sensitive workloads, adjusting priorities at short notice to meet the operational needs of a 24/7 service.
  • You have the demonstrated ability to use initiative, solve problems and implement effective solutions.
  • You have knowledge of rostering, leave management and payroll systems within a large organisation.
