Overview: Employees in this role accept accountability for the outcomes of nursing/midwifery management practices within CIS, for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy, for contributing to a safe and positive work culture and for developing corporate team performance. Individual employees accept accountability for their specific span of control or allocated portfolio. Employees in this role provide, oversee, and advise on corporate management and systems services that are by complexity or breadth, and initiate and lead projects of significant scope and complexity such as major systems changes. The Clinical Digital Solutions Manager is accountable to the Director Operations Clinical Information Systems and is responsible for the operational management of assigned work streams providing clinical leadership, expertise and influence, as well as change management guidance and monitoring to ensure new Clinical Information Systems are fit for multi-disciplinary use across the SA Health enterprise. This includes providing high level support to the board spectrum of, Clinical and Administrative staff across SA health, by leading the design of clinical system enhancements and operational improvements within CIS applications. Supporting LHN accreditation and risk management activities and processes. Various practice models may be used to enact this role, including but not limited to:
Provide support services to both Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and Nursing Directors in nursing/midwifery practice and services in areas including but not limited to staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management.
