South Australia Police’s Prosecution Services Branch (PSB) conducts prosecutions in the Magistrates and Youth Courts throughout the state. The Branch comprises the Major Indictable Brief Unit, Central Prosecution, Prosecution Support, Policy and Advice, Training and an Operations section of regional and metropolitan prosecution units.

The Senior Prosecution Administration Officer works directly within the prosecution units. The position is responsible for providing high quality administration support to prosecutors and liaising with judiciary and court staff to ensure the effective and efficient processing of the business of the court.

The Senior Prosecution Administration Officer Pool will operate for a period of up to 12 months. Recommended applicants will be eligible for upcoming term/temporary opportunities. Successful applicants will be contacted as positions become available.

Special Conditions

  • The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
  • The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
  • The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

Salary
ASO3 - $71,589 - $76,033 per annum.
