The Department for
Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people
and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public
transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the
State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential
and important government services to our community.
The
Opportunity
Lead the provision of
expert hydrology and stormwater management advice, with a focus on
water quality and flood management, supporting infrastructure
planning and asset management. Contribute to technical standards,
governance and stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliant, safe and
effective outcomes aligned with departmental priorities.
About
you
You bring strong
analytical and research skills, with the ability to evaluate
complex information and deliver clear, evidence-based advice and
recommendations. You have significant experience delivering complex
professional work and driving continuous improvement. A
collaborative communicator, you build relationships, manage
competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and deliver outcomes
independently or within a team environment.
Educational
Qualifications / Licences
A Degree in Engineering
providing eligibility for graduate membership as a Professional
Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia is
essential.
Special
Conditions
- A National Police
Check (NPC) which is required to employment with the Department
of Infrastructure and Transport and is required to be renewed
every three years.
- Some out of hours and
weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring
overnight stays, may be required.

PO3
- $111,870 to $119,994 pa + superannuation.
