About Us

Picture a career that’s more than numbers. At the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), we’re building a world-class Treasury for South Australia—one that’s innovative, collaborative, and future-focused.

For over 120 years, Super SA has supported South Australian public sector employees to build financial security for their future. As a branch of the Department of Treasury and Finance, we are trusted to deliver reliable, member‑focused superannuation services that genuinely make a difference. Our people are at the heart of our success, working in a positive, inclusive and supportive environment where expertise is valued, collaboration is encouraged, and meaningful work is delivered every day.

We’re South Australia’s lead agency for economic, digital, and financial policy outcomes. Our work touches every corner of the state, from enabling frontline services to driving digital transformation. And we do it all with one purpose: to make life better for the people who call South Australia home.

Why This Role Matters

At Super SA, our work helps thousands of South Australian public sector employees and retirees plan for the future with confidence. As a Senior Account Services Officer, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely and trusted superannuation services that directly impact our members' financial wellbeing.

This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise within a team that values curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement. Your work will help ensure members receive exceptional service while supporting Super SA's commitment to being the trusted superannuation fund for South Australia's public sector community.

About The Opportunity

As a Senior Account Services Officer within Member Operations, you'll be a trusted technical specialist and key contributor to the successful delivery of member services.

You'll provide expert advice and support across a range of superannuation administration activities, including member account management, benefit payments, contributions and investment transactions. You'll also help guide and coach colleagues, contribute to process improvements, participate in system testing and support initiatives that enhance the experience of our members.

Working closely with operational teams across Super SA, you'll have the opportunity to influence continuous improvement, share your knowledge and help deliver quality outcomes in a collaborative and inclusive environment. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting others and finding better ways of working, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your career while making a meaningful contribution.

About You

You are a motivated and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting others, solving complex problems and delivering high-quality outcomes. You bring a strong customer focus and take pride in ensuring accurate and trusted services for members. We're particularly interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate:

  • RG146 accreditation (or equivalent superannuation qualification), or a commitment to achieving certification within six months, with a genuine interest in building expertise within the superannuation sector.
  • A collaborative approach to supporting and uplifting teams, helping colleagues achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes for members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify issues, think critically and implement practical solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data, spreadsheets and business systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity across high-volume financial transactions and records.
  • The technical capability to interpret and apply superannuation rules and calculations, delivering accurate benefit and pension payment outcomes for members.
  • Experience processing, reconciling and analysing data, with the ability to investigate variances, maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
